'69 B body with TTI exhaust, how's your fit?
« on: March 22, 2008, 04:02:20 PM »

A friend of mine wants to put a full TTI system with an Xpipe on his '69 RR. The issue right now is that the car has been mini tubbed and the springs are moved inboard. He is wondering how well the TTI set up will fit. Has anyone accomplished this, and if so could you post a couple of photos of your exhaust system? Thanks

I don't know about the B body kit but on my A body TTI system the tailpipes will not fit now that I've mini tubbed the car. I still working on possible solutions. I could modify my TTI pipe to go out through the springs to the outsides (like pic) or just leave them off and dump at the axle.

Are you running into problems in the wheel tub and spring relocation box area?

Not really, the problem is where the TTI tailpipes go through next to the gas tank (directly inline with the frame). This area is now occupied by the springs
