small block tranny will work 727 or 904.  There is 1 bolt that does not line up on it, but as has been posted above it has been done many times before ...

That is strange a 67 with a 66 motor. I have not see many 67 model year vehicles with a poly motor since 66 was the last year of the 318 poly.  I guess it is possible.  Dunno

Everything cam and above is different. The 318 Poly was also still used in Canada in '67 (from what I have read).

Don't forget the fact that the Poly 318 used the same rod dimensions as the LA engines, except they are much lighter duty (much lighter in weight).  The LA rods will fit but if the crank is not balanced to suit, then engine =  explode.  Same applies for swapping in the LA crank in place of the Poly crank without changing the rods.   hammer

Lot's of interchangability under the cam, but be carefull with some of the "highly stressed" parts like cranks and rods.

Said it before, saying it again - 318 Poly steel crank, used with LA rods, balanced properly with mallory metal =  4 speed

So it is a 66 fury? Check out that web site I posted it has every thing you will need to know about a poly motor and where to get parts from .Go to the top of the page and click on parts, about poly motor etc. any topic will take you to usefull information.  I used it all the time when I was restoring my 66 Charger with a 318 poly.

We had a 67 Fury boughjt new in Ohio.It had a poly factory. My brother was second owner as the OE owner wiped a timing chain and didnt know how to fix it.He probally got the wrong plugs 3 or 4 times for it as they always gave him long reach ones.It was an early build car.Rocky

Poly's were definitely in Canadian cars for 1967 model year. They are a decent running little motor with lots of potential

I haven't had a poly motor before but if you're using a newer LA tranny (904 or 727) check the size of the torque convertor snout with the crankshaft register.  I used to have a '67 Dart with a 273 and that year torque convertor knob and input shaft are smaller than newer ones.  I tried cutting the knob down on a lathe to fit my crank and ruined a hi-stall 727 convertor. Frustrated
