I need your imput, which one would you choose? The 73 has a really good body but the interior is hurting and the 70 body is really rough but the interior is perfect.

It will be expensive either way. But alot depends on how custom of an interior you want. On the other hand, a good body is the way to go. If you don't have bodywork knowledge and have to pay to have it done, you better start saving now. If it were me, I would go with the good body.

If you can do the metalwork, I think the 70 is more valuable. Replacing a quater is much more time consuming than a carpet kit. Not to mention paint.....

Buy 'em both. Put the '70 interior in the '73 (and a low deck stroker while yer at it) Can't have too many extra parts layin' around. Can ya?

if it is only one or the other i would buy the 73. int work is alot easier then body work. cheaper too. my choice would be buy both and put the int and front clip from the 70 onto the 73.

What are the other differences? Drivetrain? Disc vs drum brakes? Big or small bolt wheels?

The cars are identical other than the bodys. They are both /6 auto cars with 7 1/4 rear end and no disk brakes but the 73 is big bolt pattern. The car is going to get a 451 stroker and going to Monster Mopar Weekend in St. louis this year.

I agree with Joe, buy both. Put the 70 nose on the 73 and the 70 interior into the 73 chassis. You'll need the 73 UCAs for the bigger balljoint when going to disks.

I like the looks of the 70 too but the lines and looks of the 73 don't bother me as much as the squareness of the 74 does. The 73 still retains a little of the older lines. Thanks for all your imputs guys, I really appreciate it. I am leaning that way Memike, it is a much nicer body. Now if I was to mini tub the car I pick would that influence any of your pics?

I would go with the 73. Even if you decide to move the springs inboard, with mini tubs, you have a solid body to start with. You can always go with a different year fiberglass or steel front end.

The one with cleanest trunk, floorpans, and frame is the way to go.If your not a welder it can get real expensive quick.Neither is an original 340 car,so get the cleanest one and do what you want.....

Buy both and swap front clip and rear bumper off '70 to '73. The interior has different door panels becease of the doors not having vent windows on the '73. Looks like a goood project.

what are the engines axle trim packages ect??? and YES the best way to go is with a good body. you can live with a dingy interior for a while. and while your working on it you can be gettin yourself a paintjob and or go fast goodies. are they both v8s or /6. if there relatively cheap ( which i doubt ) buy both
