Headliner sources
« on: April 06, 2008, 02:19:03 PM »

I've been looking around trying to find a sewn fabric headliner for my '74 Duster, but all I can find is cardboard (or ABS) repros. I've looked for ones for my Duster and also specifically for similar year Dart Sports as I've been told the headliners are identical. No such luck. Anyone know who would have a fabric headliner available, or am I stuck with a cardboard/ABS one?

Yeah, that was one of the first places. Unless I overlooked it, I didn't see a fabric one to be had for '74 Dusters.

I'll bet the roof rails in a '74 were still stamped for a cloth headliner. If so, you would need to come up with a set of bows, the little v-shaped pockets that the ends of the bows go in, and a couple of listing hooks for the back bow.

Yep, I've got everything except for the pockets and the headliner itself. A buddy of mine hooked me up with the bows and ever since then I've been trying to find a fabric headliner.
