Windscreen(windsheild) Question
« on: April 10, 2008, 11:28:21 AM »

Hi folks, this is my first post on here and I need a bit of help.  Dunno
I have a 1968  Dart 2dr sedan and trhe windscreen is going bad, its starting to delaminate along the lower edge, my question is this. Are the windsceens for the 2dr sedan the same as the screens in the 2 dr hardtop or ais there a difference.

It would make life a bit easier if they were the same because as far as I am aware this is the only sedan in England and is definatley the only prostreet sedan in the UK. Grin

I need to know as the screen is coming out this weekend as the dash has to be removed so that my rollcage can be fitted in the near future.

Windscreen. Haha. I used to ride a Triumph 750 Bonneville and the service manual used to crack me up. "Wash the bearing in parafin and blow dry with a jet of compressed air".

I believe they are the same. By the way, what's a wally?

actually, I think they're different, I'm pretty sure the one out of the hardtop is an inch or so shorter

Folks,
67-69 Sedan is different than a 67-69 Hardtop.

67-69 sedan (2dr post) takes part number  DW00691 GB N.

if you can find a 4 door valiant or Dart the windscreen will work.
Be careful and save your gasket if it is good shape, new ones are not made the same.
