I dont have any pics cause I sold my 67 dart that had in boarded leafs with cal tracs. I'm going to in board the leafs on my 68, I still have the cal tracs. On my 67 I had to notch the in board box for one of the bolts on the cal trac bars to slide into the box. I heard that Cal tracs has a bar that will work with in boarded leafs. They dont use that bolt and instead weld a tube across in its place, allowing the cal trac plate to slide into the box. You can make it work, Cal trac bars are well worth the money. I'm trying there split leafs too this time... Good luck, hope my garble made some sense.

hey robx4406, or anyone else out there, could you tell me the inside width on those relo boxes. im in the process of making my own boxes and need to leave room for caltracs. do caltracs have a 1/2" bolt hole for the front pivot/leaf eye for a body applications? id like to drill them right the first time. thanks! larry.

Well I got the Cal Tracs in today . Tomorrow goes in the 4:10's and the Moser axles. Then I can bolt on the 295-50-15's. I will be happy to be able to move the car around on all 4 tires. Eric Eric, Who makes the sway bar you have installed. At looks to be a nice setup. Thanks

Thanks Eric for the info! Did you have to request a rear sway bar that would fit with the leaf relocation kit?
Thanks again.

I hate when that happens. How close does the rear end get to the frame rails? Maybe you can trim a little off the end links?
Problem aside your car project looks great. Do you have more pictures to share?
Thanks agian for the info.

I'd like to see more pics of your mini tub also. What size rear tire are you running?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Leaf Spring Sliders? Thanks for the help.

I've herd that they were mostly used by flat track racers to give the leafs more support. They have solid aluminumn bushings as opposed to rubber. Drag racers are starting to use them now and say they work great. I liked the idea of giving my car possible better handling and lowering the rear just a bit. I have no experience with them as of yet so hopefully someone else can chime in. I think they are a bit noisy too. Eric

This is the stage my dart is in right now. I plan on using the Mickey Thompson 325/50R15 ETs on 15X10 Greg Weld Design wheels. Here is a pict of them.

Very nice. Can you go with a wider rear wheel? Like a 12?

I don't know. I think 10 inch will be plenty wide. I am trying to decide what width to use on the front. Not going to put a wide tire on front, trying to keep an old school feel to it. Will probably go with a 5 inch wheel with a VW size tire.
