Yes, but be sure to take everything off the donor car. The backing plates have the same bolt pattern. The e- brake cable will slip in fine. -Jay

Better getting the parts off a Dakota. Midd 80's will do and you get bigger brakes. All the parts will bolt right on.

Will the backing pads and brakes from an A body 8.25 work on an A body 8.75? Not if the a-body rear still has a-body axles redrilled or not.

I've been through this a few times. There are three different spacings between the axle's flange and the housing's flange. Your donor's measurement MUST match the axle you are trying to retro fit to. A body 8 3/4 is one size, which is different from the STD B body, which is different from the third which escapes me right now. But as I said if the two you are going to use parts to and from match, there will be no problems. For example: we took the brakes 11 x 3 off of a Cordoba with a 9 1/4 and used them on an early (65 non tapered axle) B body 8 3/4. Did the same with a (76 4x4) truck axle 9 1/4 to a replacing (71 2WD) truck 8 3/4. Swung out the brakes and swung in the 8 3/4 and bolted up the brakes without cracking a line.
