Anyone running Wilwood brakes on all four corners, their tandem MC and proportioning valve on the rear and original brake pedal?
In that case, how is your brake pedal feelin´?
With this setup I´ve been tryin´to get a firm pedal but all I can get is a spongy feelin´. And yes I have been bleedin´the MC and all four corners starting in the far rear end, raised the front brake calipers with the bleeders straight up, been tappin´on the calipers even new brake lines and still I have a pedal that is spongy. The MC is OK,I took two old brake lines that I used a plier to ¨shortcut¨and then the pedal was like stepping on a stone.Rocksolid!
Any ideas?

I have Wilwoods all around on my Dart and the pedal pressure is firm. I used a vaccuum pump setup to bleed the lines which really helped make the pedal feel right . Idid have a problem with the brakes locking up , but that was due to a slight amount of binding on my brake push rod , now solved . Keep on bleeding them , it`s well worth the extra effort. Chryco

Try bleeding the drivers side rear 1st. Sometimes the farthest 1st doesn't work when theres to much air.Do the rear drivers then rear passenger. Also when you bleed, bleed very slowly so the air has time to travel out.(No loose fittings? )Just my two cents. Kenny

With any brake bleeding, the biggest thing NOT to do is to pump the pedal really fast. If you are doing it with someone pumping, have them do it slow and smooth. I went and bought Earls bleeders for my 4 wheel willwoods. So much easier to bleed ,no air gets sucked back, they are only one way .

Any ideas? I had the same problem, did all the tricks, bleed this way and that, installed check valves, finally put drums back on rear and no problem. If you get the pedal you want, please post how you did it.
