Close....but so far.

I am in one of my moods, so you can give me crap if you want but I need to vent.
My Mom sat in the emergency ward on a gurney for 2 days before she could get a room. She was having complications after her liver cancer surgery. The emerg was filled with drunken idiots and whiners and daredevils who do shit like that.
These freaking idiots tax our resources to the limit. I went to my Wife's office party and a girl drank herself into oblivion. Paramedics were called and they took her to the hospital. Their words: a waste of valuable resources. They could not leave until she got a room. Six hours of 2 people who save lives wasted for nothing!
I am going to stop cuz I am getting worked up. I am just angry because of my Mom's situation.
By the way, I have never heard anyone here talking about street racing. It is all at the track. Mopar class!

I worked in a tiny little ER and we got tons of idiots in to put back together, watch them finally walk out of the hospital only to come in again in a few weeks. Sorry to hear about your mom. It's really tough. Hang in there. I was on my way thru Delaware one time doing over 70mph and this biker got real close to my drivers side and started doing acrobats on his bike with my kids in the car. When I slowed down so did he, when I sped up so did he and he was standing on the seat. I really wanted to swerve and scare him but I was afraid he'd die. Just hope my kids don't remember and never try that crap!
