For my final assembly of my Cuda, I want to build a dolly to hold my completely assembled AlterKtion / suspension, with engine, tranny and headers. Will then lower the body down over it.
Question: In extending your answer to Tubbed68Cuda, would the lower control arm mounts be a good place to support the front portion of the assembly on the dolly? The dolly would have two vertical square tubes with the half round tubes welded to catch the mount areas. I'd then have a support point at the back on the trans and the whole thing would be on casters. Would the CA mount areas be strong enough to support the engine, etc. Seems like it would....basically supports the whole front of the car???

Oh yea. You could easily hang a whole car from one of those tubes, so those two points and the trans mount would be perfect.

Those who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those of us who are doing it.
