My Wifes 2005 Durango was stolen last night!!!!!

Here we go again. My wifes white 2005 Dodge Durango was stolen out of my driveway last night by 2 hispanic males. Got VIDEO of them stealling it. plate # 044fgw. Has Hunington Beach stickers on the rear side windows, a purple tinkerbell in the passenger rear window area and my wifes nick name in purple letters in the rear drivers side window area TERZA. if you see it contact the police (911) and tell them it is stollen out of Phoenix AZ.

Last year when my house got robbed, the little bastards took the spare key to my truck. Instead of changing the locks, I disabled it every night, turned off the dome light and made a nail board which I painted gray to match the seats and leave it on the driver's seat every night. Haven't caught anything yet.

Damn, Shawn (sp? Sorry...) that sucks.  I hope ya'll get it back in one piece.  If not, you'll get a call before the weekend is out that they found it abandoned and stripped, unfortunately.  That's their MO.  Knock on wood, I haven't had one stolen yet, but the first thing I do every day I wake up is open the front door and make sure they're still in the driveway.  Best of luck...that truly sucks.

My truck got stolen in Glendale a couple of years ago two weeks later they  found it no tires no batter  and for some reason the powers steering overfilled with  motor oil.  crazy nuts here n AZ

more or less we keep getting things that go missing, my tailgate off of my truck for starters, my wifes purse out of her old truck, mail out of the mail box, guy across the street got his GPS unit and truck keys stolen out of his truck while in the garage, lady next to him had here window busted out and some x-mas gifts stolen out of here car, the guy next door to me got one of his landscape boulders thrown into his front door, made his security alarm go off, and ended up having to replace his front door because of damage, soooooo it's been happening for awhile, more of a targeted area at this point.

Sounds like a nieghborhood that would benifit from someone waiting up for a few nights till they see sumtin happening and then unload a couple clips into the asses of the loser doing that crap. I would bet you the crime in your nieghborhood would drop off to nothing after that. Proven fact, if a criminal knows a nieghborhood packs heat in just about every house, they are going to skip it and find a "safer" area to commit their crimes. 98% of criminals are pansy ass cowards, thats why they are what they are. No guts or ambition to be better than they are.

We have 2 dogs the guy across the street has 4 dogs, the people next to me across the street have 2 dogs the lady 2 doors down on the other side of me has 2 or 3 dogs, unless they have the run of the neighborhood at night it really does no good. Thanks for the vote of confidence though.

I know what you're sayin'. I had a shepherd/ pitbull mix that used to think he was the director of security. He was cool. He slept in a spot on the first floor where he was able to see the front and back doors. If he heard a sound outside, he'd either let himself out the LOCKED back door or wake me up. I was never sure how he differentiated whether it was a wake up noise or not.

When I finish my home improvement project, the cars will be behind a locked gate at night.

Yup,
I have video, gave it to the police when they came to the house, it only took them under 4 minutes to disable the alarm, get in, hotwire it, and take off.

sorry it happened.hope u get it back or at least the insurance handles it right. ive lived here awhile and it seems everytime i put a nice stereo in my car it gets stolen. fukrs!!! sorry. i even had an alarm and it was disabled and the stereo was gone. i guess its all part of living here. and the cops have seen it and delt with it soooo much that im amazed they even showed up to take ur info down. i had someone break into my house while my lil girl was being baby sat  and it took them 45 minutes to show up. they only responded when i told them i will handle it myself if they dont get here. come to expect it more if ur anywhere near glendale or west phx.

Someone on here posted that if you take an out of service cell phone, record the sim # and hide it in your car that if it was stolen the police can track it. Free LoJack.     Don't know if it's true and of course you would have to have a charger perminatly hooked up to it. Any input as to the validity of this being true anyone?

sounds like a rough neighbor hood or should I say expensive neighbor hood having to buy things multiple times. If we make the punishment more harsh, crime would dimminish. Spoke to a lady at work who's husband was in the service, she said some place in europe, the police shoot any major crime offender first then ask the questions. sound easier to find the honest people that way.   Good luck with getting the truck back.

The cops stopped them for no reason and they ran. Right into my neighbors and my back yard. Long story short, they werent happy after that. Havent had a problem since. The dog definitly made a difference. He lets me know to pump them fullof lead and he is not mean. He is a great family dog. Get a dog and train it to sleep next to your family. Get a gun and train yourself when your dog alerts you.

I have 2 dogs a male pitbull boxer mix (not shown), and a female besenji shepard mix(The first pic the harry dog looking at himself is no longer around). If anyone comes into our backyard both of them are up and barking the female is a one man dog, me. Any other male comes around and she starts to bark and lunge for the guy, the entire back of her fur from her neck to her tail stands on end, she will rip your hand off, and the mail will follow her lead. And I have a steel louisville slugger and a 12" buck knife or 2 to do some damage. My neighbor has the 45 mag. to catch them running from my house. My neighborhood is a very nice upscale hood it's just that there are alot of transiant people that cut throgh to get from one place to another.
