What are you using to remove tar and seam sealer from inside car?

If the seam sealer is in between seams, you may just get out what you can see. Or you can soak it with something like lacquer thinner to soften it up and try getting it out. The same thing goes for the tar. You may also want to try acetone rather than thinner to, but be careful of the fumes in either case, especially in an enclosed area like the interior.

I got the sealer out with both a twisted bristle wire brush on an angle grinder and warmed up the bitumastic stuff with a heat gun (careful, not too hot!) and a putty knife, came off a treat!

Try a Pneumatic needeler, They work great for all that & undercoating .
After that a swipe with a rag & thinner.

 agree works good just make sure you wear a mask for sure.
