Topic: Had to laugh at the wife (Read 181 times)

We are doing some work on the house , took out the fireplace in the living room in was sunken into a conversation pit but took up a lot of floor space. Here in the Phoenix area there really is not much need for indoor fireplace. So a friend of hers give her a number for the a guy to the concrete work after I removed the fireplace. He was to work on it Saturday, so she goes out of town to see her sister in New Mexico to avoid the noise. Well he call Saturday morning and can not make it but will be here Sunday. the wife gets home about midnight Saturday no work done and then at 7 AM Sunday the guy and his crew show up. I'm in the clear on this one as it was her friend that gave her the # to this guy. You can run but you can not hide.
