that thing is a mess. . god knows whats under that crappy paint. see the buble in the door. i love this one Great Truck for Hot Rod, need decals And other monor change to make original. $4200.00 .. everyone asks alot of money for those things. i just don't see those trucks moving at the high prices very often. when i had mine it was a pain in the ass to sell. and it was a nice original paint truck with a ton of extra parts and a new int. gotts find someone that wants a lil red and only a lil red. so many people that called about it were just looking for a work truck.

Price isn't TOO bad. Not sure what the guy means by "new" engine. Those definately need the original engine to help their value. If he put a different engine in, forget it.
Joe, sorry you had a bad experience of owning one. I LOVE mine. It is surprisingly fast for a "rated" 225HP truck. It would give my Hemi Ram Daytona a good run for the money. Don't plan on selling mine anytime soon, but I've noticed the nice ones are starting to bring better and better money. Just like any collectible, you gotta market them right...

never said i had a bad experience owning one. it was a great truck. it ran great too (low 15 to high 14 second truck). was never gonna run like i wanted with the 360 in it though so i decided to sell it. just stating that they are hard to sell.. i see them up for more more money but they sure don't move fast. like i said you need to find someone that really wants one. they aren't like cars when selling. here is the one i had. thats original paint on it. i had a ton of nos parts for it too. took it 7 hours to ohio for the nats a couple years too.

Ha, went and looked at that truck 3 weeks ago, so if it's still for sale, well you can figure it out. Funky red paint, interior rattle painted, ding or dent everywhere etc. If it was a 1978, with the original motor, and a $1k cheaper, it would be a good deal. There's really nice 79's for sale around 6 or 7k, better deals.
