Car Alarm guys/shaved door handles. Advice needed
« on: May 04, 2008, 07:42:27 PM »

I'm looking at buying this alarm for my dart when the time comes to order my other stuff from them for my car(the parent company makes autoloc and I'll be buying keyless entry kit for shaved doorhandles) it's about 900 bucks for this alarm from Stellar automotive security systems.
http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/stellar/details.lasso?itemid=st9000
It's expensive but has a pretty long list of functions:
6 built-in relays
Built-in parking light relay
Built-in doorlock relays
Built-in trunk release
Built-in window roll up
Built-in starter kill relay
Remote keyless entry
Remote anti-carjacking mode
Channel 3 output
Channel 4 output
External shock sensor plug
Dual stage shock sensor with warn first feature
Horn honk and siren output
Dome light supervision
6 zones of instant protection
Status memory
Anti-code grabbing technology
6 zone trigger identification
Smart passive locking
Remote chirp delete
Fault tolerant outputs
Output with auto-arm
Plug-in sensor inputs for adding additional sensors (see page 20)
Remote panic
Plug-in harness
Plug in valet button and LED

I think it looks like a pretty good system but I'm looking for opinions I'd really like to find one that has a shut off for my efi system so that if somebody gets in and the alarms going off the efi computer won't allow anything to happen.

I'm also planning on shaving my door handles and locks so I'll be going with an autoloc system maybe somebody can offer a suggestion or two there as well?

I have an autoloc shaved handle kit and it is nice........quality stuff.  I am gonna retro some different handles for the doors, but keeping the trunk lock shaved and keyless entry.

That's a long list of stuff to wire........no matter what you do, somebody who knows security systems or has a tow truck can steal ur car

what always works and costs under 5 bucks to  make is a kill switch just hide it and flick the switch i  challenge you to start the car now.
