Trust me, I know my facts, I follow hockey all season long and all the teams, not just my favorite.
Go ahead and hang your hopes on Biron, a run of the mill goalie, who #'s aren't even that good so for in the playoffs.
Philly is lucky they got such a soft opponent in the first round (which they barely won), had they played a good team they'd be out on the golf course right now.

The only reason Montreal lost is Price fell apart, but that can happen when you rely on a rookie goalie. It'll be a good series, but I think Pitt will prevail.

 Pittsburgh routinely keeps ovechkin off the board. He is overrated.
 Philly cant stay out of the Penalty box! That is their biggest downfall.
 If they used a little more skill and a few less cheap shots they would have a better chance.

what's wrong with hitting? ill admit the penalties kill us, but that's old time hockey. Ovechkin scored 65 goals, so everyone gave atleast a couple up to him. Hitting makes teams fear us. If pittsburg is scared, they can run back their own city haha.

The #1 scorer in the league doesn't mean crap when its a team game. Look at their team stats versus Ovechkins. Shut him down, shut down the Capitals.  I'd take two 30 goal scorers over one 60 guy anyday. Hell, without Ovechkin, Whashington barely had two 20 goal scorers.
Washington was horrible, the only reason they ranked third was because they won the worst division in the sport.

And Biron....please. In case you haven't noticed, Catching pucks out of the air, laying in front of pucks and making saves when it matters is what goalies are supposed to do. Thats there only reason for being on the ice!

Biron has the worst stats of any of the remaining goalies.....hardly the hottest player right now.
Of the 4 remaining goalies, Biron has the only Goals Against Average above 1.76, he's at a stellar 2.72, meaning he averages one more goal allowed per game than the other remaining 3 goalies.

I thinks its pretty obvious that Frazen is the hottest player on offense currently. 9 goals in 4 games. Even "The Great One" never did that.
Franzen, Malkin and Crosby have have just as many points each (14) as Briere (14) but with fewer games....
Datsuyk and Zetterberg have more points each (13) than Umberger (11) with fewer games......
and Ribeiro and Morrow have just as many points as Briere and Umberger, with the same # of games.

Pitts power play will kill the Flyers because Philly can't stay out of the penalty box.

 Have you watched a pittsburgh game at all this year? Breaking crosbys nose wont take him out of a game. It will just piss him off.
 He played last years playoffs with a broken foot. When he was out this season the team actually did better. They went from around 8th in standings to first.
 Hossa is getting a ton of shots a few are bound to go in.
 We all know how hartnell likes to take stupid penalties.
If the rest of the team  fights like Ben eager did before they traded him they better not drop the gloves.

I personally cant wait to see Orpik feed brierre a mouth full of boards.

The Flyers do deserve some credit. A week before the end of the season it looked lik ethey werent even going to make the playoffs let alone make it this far.

1.76 is hardly a random stat...Maybe you don't know the meaning of the word random?

GAA and Save% are the two stats that best measure how a goalie is performing....
Look at Osgood 1.52 GAA and .937 Save%
Turco 1.72 GAA and .929 Save%
Fleury 1.76 GAA there's my "random" stat, and .938 Save%

Then there is your almighty Biron, bringing up the rear, with 2.72 and .914 Save%....Far from the hottest goalie.

Wishing to hurt a player is just the type of Goon mentality that Flyers have the reputation for.
Pay close attention to what Josh wrote, when Crosby wasn't in the line-up, Malkin and the rest of the team stepped up and the whole team improved.
Time to face it man, you've had a good run, but it'll soon be over.

just watch how the pros do it. it was a tough break in february when simon gagne got injured, but  look at where we are now. he helped get us get  this far, but now our boys are gonna step up. just watch the stanley cup champs

Sure is. Their endurance is stellar also. They will wear teams down. 
 They had speed and some skill last year but they have physicality and a lot more skill to go with it this year.  This is a lot more well rounded complete hockey team this year.
