I check out 3 dealers here locally in the SF bay area and none have shown up yet. My wife drove my Daytona last Friday and that night said to me "that truck is WAY TOO BIG!" I showed her a pic of the new Challenger and to my surprise she said "you have the Lil Red, why don't you sell the Daytona and get a Challenger". It's a long story, but that's a significant statement coming from her. Now I'm considering an '09 SRT8 w/6speed...

My wife Kim was up in Seattle, Wash. about 3 weeks ago and she told me that she saw a 2009 Challenger there on the street.
I asked her if she was sure about that being a new Challenger, and she told me that her GF up there is a NASCAR nut and she knows cars, especially MOPARS and she was the one who ID'd the '09 Chally and made a big deal of the sighting....

My buddy from the Brampton Chrysler plant told me the final production models where suppost to have started to roll off the line last week. The ones you see running around or being transported are for testing etc...

By what I'm reading on the specs of the Challenger, they are still to darn heavy. Its tipping over 4 thousand pounds, thats just way to heavy for a car. Thats the only thing thats holding the performance of the car down. Its to HEAVY. To be honest it looks to heavy. Anyways, I would still buy in a heart-beat. If I had the money.
