Anyone have pic's of a 68 Dart floor shifter console brackets? I'm looking to figure out the proper placement for the brackets, which I already have, and need some help in locating them properly on the floor. Pic's would be most helpful.

Here's some pics.
Start from the first one and locate the shifter bracket above the upper-right screw. The screw holes will be stamped in the floor.
Then locate the console brackets from the measurements on the tape.

Nothing like having a car apart in the garage. What's weird is that we've got three a-body convertibles (68 GTS, 67 GT, and 67 Barracuda). This is the only factory console car of the three. Both Darts were originally column autos. The GTS still is, but Jeff's 67 has a console and a four speed.

There we go! That's what I've been looking for...  A MAP!  Grin  Much thanks!

Anyone know if someone's repopping that boot for the floor? I've had enough of the over pricing of the shifter linkage ($250 and up) for this and I'm about to start repopping the linkage myself, so if someone has a line on the boot I can get under way and put some sanity back in the fun of this sport/hobby.

HEY JIM - One more shot, if you could, an in-line shot showing the three brackets lined up front to rear, as if looking from the back seat, so I can determine any offsettting of the brackets left to right? Please. please, please...   Cry

One more thing. That's an e-body slap-stick shifter with an early (66-68) a-body knob. The throw is slightly different and will have to be made up.
