I'm very stoked, I just got a bee stripe painted on my scamp. I was a little hesitant as to what to do with the stripe as I'm not a big fan of the angled stripe that my body style should have and I really like the straight up and down stripe that I guess came on late 60's cars. Since the car is anything but stock I decided to go with what I like instead of what would be more correct. There a bunch of pictures here: http://www.72scamp.com/bee_stripe.phpI really like how the pin striping on the hood blackouts and on the bee stripe match. What do you guys think?

totally killer. I always wondered what a slanted rear would look like with a straight stripe. Looks good!

Yeah. the straight stripes make it easier, there's something to be said for simplicity.. it's hard to screw up! The only reason I say that is I saw a 68 Dart GTS with the tape strip on up-side-down. I'm not real sure the owner even knew it and I didn't want to piss the guy off so I let it be. The car was nice and he was pretty proud of it so I didn't want to look likee I was getting ticky-tac on him for it, but it did look odd. (The bend in the stripe where it follows the body line of the trunk, was going away from the line of the trunk in the middle instead of following it.)

Upside down? That reminds me of a 80's caddy we saw last winter. We were setting at a red light, snowing like crazy, when this caddy drove by.He had his chains on the rear wheels but it was a front wheel drive car...
