Dumb fuel tank questions
« on: May 09, 2008, 06:24:57 PM »

Well here is another newbie question I have to ask.  What does ECS stand for related to buying a fuel tank.  Do I have that or need that?

I have a 67 dart, but I'm modifying it to have 68+ straps to get the original single strap out of the way cause I moved my springs inboard.

Can't say for sure, but I think "ECS" is for "emmisions control system".  Might be for California cars, as I think such extras were required equipment on them that far back.

Just my guess.

... or Evaporative Control System (Charcaol canister equipped, fuel bowl vent to tank vapor line maybe?)  Dunno Emmissions... I got an emmission for ya!  Gangster
