Oh happy day
« on: May 10, 2008, 03:45:40 PM »

So heres the tale. Went out to the local pick-u-part to find an independent rear suspension out of a ford t bird. well their really hard to grab out so I said screw it and found some early 90's eagle talon bucket seats for my 84 ramcharger as well as a voltage regulator and a alternator for the same truck. Well it was all you can carry for 30 bucks out there today and I happened to remember a part my dad stashed in the weeds many a year ago. well he has said he found it the other day so i figured well hey lets go find it again and lug it home. and here it is:  !nanr

Thats right your eyes do not decieve you it's a 8 3/4 489 pumpkin complete with 2.76 gears and an open diff. I paid basically 10 bucks for it  !nanr

great ratio but they'd kill the clutch in my manual trans car. lol I've got a B-body width rear and I've always wanted a B body the darts getting independent rear suspension who knows maybe I'll stash these away for a charger.
