Front wheel selection
« on: May 11, 2008, 06:39:10 PM »

I have got my Billet Specialties 15 x 10 "street lites" and 295-50-15's. So I want your opinions on wheel and tire size for my fronts. The front wheels are available in 15 x 6 and 15 x 4. I have a 69 dart that I am putting disc on and am wondering what back spacing, wheel size and tire size I should get for best clearance. These wheels are only available in 15's. Thanks in advance, Rex

If your driving a lot on the street I dont think they recomend anything narrower than a 5" wheel.  You can still fit skinnies on them to get that drag car look.  My 68 dart will mostly be strip but a weekend cruiser, so I ordered 15x5 Weld Pro stars I think they have 2.5 or 3" backspacing.
