1968 Sat Station Wagon.
« on: May 11, 2008, 06:44:07 PM »

Ok, well, here goes:

I know of where a 1968 Ply Sat wagon is. It's a 318 car, dark blue in color. Thing is.... it's in a barn/shed type thing, that the roof has collapsed down on. Can't really tell if there is damage on the roof.

Has anyone ever had a find like that? Was the roof damaged or..?

We've tried to get it before. Knew the guy was home, b/c we talked to him 20 min earlier. Then he won't answer the door when we were going to offer money! I'm thinking of going by everyday other day this summer until I get the car (hopefully).

Think it'd be worth it to fix the top if it was dented? Think it's even worth buying and restoring?

Thanks

If you don't get it. Talk to Chad (68 Val Sedan). He's got a wagon body on a rotissire (65 I think??) that he is going to let go.

I don't know why, but I do have a soft spot for the wagons.

We actually had a 1970 Sat wagon, that I wanted to keep REAL bad. But we needed the money to finish my Dart. That had an air grabber hood. It was one bad wagon. Wink

I'll see if I can get the wagon. I'm putting a 440 in the Dart this winter, so I'll have a complete 340 running gear set up for another car..
