The worst part is the small print, and putting the print over color , it suck's trying to read it.

putting the print over color

gotta agree with that..  its hard to pick up the writing sometimes when its over certian colors.

magazine is real thin too.  not much in it yet.

best job they have done so far is the one on bbscamps school class. the write up was very good and the looks of the article was very good.

the shoot outs have been horrible.  from what i hear its the art dept. that gets the blame for that. no action shots, the last one didn't have any times. i know for a fact that the blue dart made a carb change part way through the day and it made an improvement. i know this becaus it was my carb that was bolted on and i saw the time difference. i know a ton of action shots are sent in for every one of those shoot outs and i know all the times and adjustmens along with their results are sent in but they don't get printed for some reason.

and i'm already sick of the new trucks and chargers.  i really don't care about putting billboards on a stinking 4 door charger.

i thought the magazine was gonns be different from the rest but its quickly going the way of the others that i have let my subscriptions run out because they suck anymore.

guess i was the idiot for believing that it would be different and geard to the average guy.  oh well atleast i only wasted $19

From what i have heard Greg Rager has been let go and a new non mopar guy is now going to be editor

I was hoping for a good magazine that would show more of the average guy cars. I was thrilled to have my Imperial in the Feb/Mar issue but then when I read it and it really didn't mention much about my car, the fact that it is a 14,500 original car I was not happy with the article.

Now after the last magazine I would have to agree that billboards on a 4 door charger (don't get me wrong I like the new charger look) I don't even like billboards on the 71 Cuda's

the idea of the magazine was one for everyone, so yes it needs Neon's, Chargers and any of the newer cars to get those readers, (they didn't want my Prowler though)

My buddies SRT4 that was shot in the Feb/Mar issue had many more shots including a smokey burnout (photographers favorite shot, even wanted one with the Imperial) Roy was disappointed that they didn't use more of the shots of the SRT

Yeah I hate to say it but it sucks...My subscription wont be renewed...Lousy articles, subject matter is re-hashed crap, no different than any of the other 3, my subscription days to Mopar Action and Collectors guide is finished too...

well im glad im not the only one i didnt subscribe to it but have bought a couple of the issues and i dont really like them i think the shootout abodyjoe is talking about is the same one that made no sense to me they said a shootout was there against an a, b, e, and c body but there are no times no anything about there even being a shootout at all it was a very disapointing issue. I have to say i am very glad i didnt subscribe and i wont even think about subscribing after the few issues i have read i can do without it.

I did a half-page in that mag right from the first issue, but I haven't even recieved an issue since october, so I pulled the ad.
You'd think that if they were getting a good buck from me, the least they could do was make sure I got my copy.

- When I cancelled the ad, I told them I haven't seen one in six months, so I wasn't paying for an ad that doesn't reach anybody. So they deleted my account, and at the end the lady told me she'd keep me on the comp list to recieve the mag.... after I just told her why I cancelled.

Poorly run, I doubt it'll stay in print much longer.

If it gets any thinner it will be a Flyer instead of a magazine...I bought a subscription, but I won't be renewing it either...It had one good copy, the first one, then slid downhill...Too bad....

  thats the one.

djvcuda is the one who does the shoot outs and tust me he sends in about 200-300 pictures and a ton of information including the changes done during the day and the time slips. somewhere along the way it gets left out.   it gets blamed on the art dept. i don't know how it works but doesn't the editor have final word? like i said  maybe i'm wrong but thats the impression i had.

this was brought up here a while back ad greg kinda called me out and asked what would abodyjoe want to see in the magazine. well i posted a short list of things that would make it interesting to me and he never replyed and i haven't seen him post since. and i have yet to see any of them covered in the magazine.

the two things i do like in it is the shoot outs or test in tunes wich would be a better name if they actually included the info that was sent to them. and ted wagners tech articles. he is a smart guy and usually writes interesting stuff.

I paid for a 3 year subscription and the difference between my free first issue and my newest issue really sucks. The shootout that featured some of our bbd members was awesome and the new one had only a few decent articles.

 agree

I didn't like the first issue, and have not liked a single one since new. The only mag I eagerly wait for every month is Mopar Muscle. I will not be renewing my scrip to ME. Too bad, I had high hopes.  Sad

I got my renewal card in the mail last week for ME.  I told my wife to cancel it.  I also am not renewing Mopar Action, every month they have a e-body on the cover.  i like e-bodies, but every issue?  I wish moparmax, the online magazine would just go to print form.  I'm old school I guess.

i don't really agree with that.   i don't think all that many people like seeing that in the magazine..  there was a magazine not all that long ago called mopar now or something like that and thats what it was about. the new stuff.  needless to say the thing didn't last too long.   now if the magazine had something like step by step new hemi install in an older car and say fuel injection and computer comparisons then yea man lets see it but disc brakes on a ram pick up and bill boards on a 4 door charger is just lame in my opinion.  from what i see on this and other forums it seems like people want to see average guy cars. you know the ones that may be a little rough around the edges but are still cool. but for some reason all the guys putting the different magazines together must share the same damn brain because you see the same big big dollar cars in all of them a month apart.

I bought one issue becase jet-taz let me thumb through some that he had. I have yet to read it.
Everyone knows the 'Cuda's and Hemis and such. I really like the different and out of the ordinary cars. The 50's big fins or the 30's Airflows as well as the average guy cars that I run into at the local cruises.

After reading this thread I'm glad I didn't subscribe.

My son and I are in the Father/Son shootout in the Feb/March issue and like Joe said DJVCuda took about 15 pics or more of each car and I actually got lucky as they used a shot of me launching in the Table of Contents.   No other action pics at all as the only pic was us kneeling by the car.  They only listed the best et as we did a full sheet of our et's and any changes we made.  And like was said they did not even post the et's on the last shooout.  I love the shootouts but it helps to know how the cars ran and what was done to them.   DJVCuda did one awesome job and is a great guy but they just did not use hardly any of the pics he sent to them.    I also dont care about putting billboards on a Charger.   In fact I prefer cars from the muscle car era but I do understand some newer cars will be in there.  I like their idea's and I hope they start doing the mag right or it wont last.   Ron

Not very decent after doing 4 cars and a background for free. Not even a phone call.  I wouldn't blow people off like that.

Ken  I kept in constant contact with you... It was my idea to TRY and get you in, we both knew it was an uphill battle going into this and you didnt blink.

I'll continue to buy the mag and give them a chance to respond to reader feedback.  When I compare them to MM or MA I'll go for the ME.  I think there's been some good articles in the 4 or 5 issues I've seen.  Sure there's duplicate coverage and articles that I have no interest in but they are putting out a MOPAR mag and there's not a whole lot to choose from in that flavor.  I'm not ready to pull the plug just yet.

I bought a subscription at MATS this year so I could get the T-shirt -- I haven't been impressed with the mag itself since the first issue. lol bash
