"a1canvas"...stay away

I emailed these guys the other day asking a very difficult question..."Do you stock copper color carpets for a '67 Dart?". All I got in return were condiscending remarks about how much free time I had to "play around asking questions","check our website and see" , "Do you have a job", and, the latest one,"yes, I have copper...PENNIES!" Well, with customer service like that, it'll be a cold day in H#LL before I buy from them. I guess they're selling enough stuff already and really don't want my money, or they're just so arrogant that loosing a sale doesn't matter to 'em.

Anyway, you decide. If you like their attitude, go ahead and buy, but with so many other companies out there selling the same stuff, I'd go with one the provides some decent customer service.

They're eBay sellers. Their prices are okay, but they are abysmally slow when it comes to shipping.

They're just resellers.

There are lots of others selling the same stuff...some of it better quality too. I've heard a few other bad comments about these guys.

I actually sold him a car part a couple of years ago.  He was absolutely unreasonable to deal with.   He wasn't happy with the part, made accusations that it wasn't the part in the picture etc etc  and was a real smart ass.  The interesting thing is that instead of a refund he wanted money off the car part.  I offered him refund which from reading between the lines he didn't want to do he wanted a discount.   He eventually sent part back and I refunded his money.  It seems when a buyer doesn't want a refund and wants a discount its usually highway robbery.

wow. i just bought a carpet and some other things off of him. made out on the deal. but when i called to try to figure out what is going on i got mr. suckbrain himself. " well we have 100's of products and we cant keep track of everything at the same time." followed by attitude and more ass face comments. Does anyone else have anyother storys about this??

They probably changed their views but about a year ago I bought carpet, seat covers and foam from them and never had an issue. Several diffent transactions and decent quality.

Hi folks, I'm John from England and I have a '70 Runner.  I bought some stuff of a1canvas last year and he ripped me off!  I spent aprox. $1200.00 with him and some of the stuff I didnt recieve. What I did recieve was nasty, condidending and threatening abuse from this illiterate man. So I posted up my complaint on every message board I could find to give him as much bad publicity as possible. The best one I found were he was actually complaining about somebody else ripping off his son for work done to his Charger.

It amazes me how a person like Geoff (A1canvas) can treat people like he does yet maintain a bussiness. 

I complained to ebay about him but nothing was done and so I lost about $770.00 worth of door cards. I returned the favour buy setting up a bogus ebay account and spending over $100,000 in his ebay shop then refused to pay the bill. But I wouldnt recomend anybody else do this as it cost me my account. Ebay struck me off after.

I think it would be funny if he got about 50 emails today asking the same question.
