I picked up a set of the 'new' re released direct connection valve covers , in the mopar box w/ a mopar pn , save yourself the aggrivation , they suck !! they dont fit well in the upper corners on my iron stage v heads and the chrome sucks pretty bad , Tiawan quality , I guess I should have expected it at 60$ I can't find a good looking set of chrome valve covers to fit a big block , the mopar p5007448's have been discontinued. Anyone have a set of the older DC no name types here ?? Right now I have a set of the blue anodized Mopar covers , they fit great and have the mopar shape to them , they look a little odd on a race Hemi orange longblock though. I may just epoxy prime them black. any ideas ??

A lot of people said the same, they are crap, I had a set that the rail would not go over the head without bending. One thing you can do, have a set of steel cover powder coated chrome, they have a finish now that looks like highly polished aluminum.
