color choices are always so hard
« on: May 14, 2008, 11:54:35 AM »

hopefully will be shooting the scamp next month, but the color choices are killing me. My final 3 contestants are pretty basic, but Im always indecisive on paint.... are there any opinions?

yeah, the purple is the one im least likely to do... its a beautiful color, but you see plum crazy way too often for me... matter of fact there is a plum crazy dart right around the corner from me.

 agree

The silver is pretty timeless.  I'd probably go with it.  Just remember, you're the one that will have to live with it, so do what YOU want.

It is a pretty blue, I was thinking the blue with black vinyl top and black factoryish stripes, or the blue/silver 2 tone as another possibility

I say the silver....although the blue is beautiful and silver is so overdone on cars, i dont think i have ever seen a nice silver scamp before....that would definatly be different and i think it would be pretty cool....but in the end do what you want cuz your the one who has to drive it....and just my .02, but no two tone stuff, its way too foose/overhaulin style

Go with the blue and use a silver graphic or stripe.

Blue would be cool with a white or black top and look factory and cool. And you'd get your two-tone.

You picked a nice blue to two-tone with black. All blues two-tone nicely with white. I don't think siver and blue work together, so I don't think the two-tone would be cool.
