Hey, well, when I was home I talked to the body man, and he's going to paint my car for me and do all of the body work, etc. I have to get the car to someone else to backhalf it and put the cage in, but my dad's talking to the guys in the area about getting it done, trying to find the best job for the best price. I havent decided if I want to wait a couple of extra months to start though to get the front end done too though, (need a couple more dollars).
Here's the good part though, I already have the frame, narrowed 60, ladder bars, shocks, etc., and wheels. my dad picked it up for me at the end of last summer, we got it all for less than $1000, all brand new.
I'm not going to build a motor yet, my dad's building one for his car, and hopefully ordering them wheelie bars, and I'm going to take his, put some new pistons in it and freshen the rest up, and using it in mine. I don't know if I should start having one built yet though or not, I am undecided as of right now, any suggestions, I'm going to get ahold of the guy and see what he says (engine builder), and what he'd price me to build a few different sizes - 440 wedge, like my dad's, 500+, or maybe just a big Hemi, I dunno.
