I read on NHRA web that you need a license if your car is faster than 135 mph. I know you need it for 9.99 and quicker. Am I reading the rule correct about the mph? Last Sat the Valiant went 136-137. Car runs ET brackets.

You need the license if you run 135 MPH or quicker. As with 9.999 or quicker. Better get the license! Believe a chute is at 135 MPH as well.

Chute isn't required untill 150 m.p.h.

NHRA and IHRA require  driver certification as well as chassis certification . The forms are downloadable and don`t forget to book a physical with your M.D.
