chop saw it in half, add the amount you need using a bolt cut to lenght and weld it back together ...

every thing should be the same. I would check the booster and the master cyl. My roadrunner with power brakes has some play in the peddle maybe half an inch.

Thats what I thought Dartracer,everything should go right together. I geuss I have to take it apart and look.  If its easy there's usually a catch...if its a prick to do its usually the right thing  ...YEEHAA!
