my 1974 dart sport is a orginal sunroof car... but it rusted and the prevous owner cut it out and welded in a ricer roof ... my questino is : are the sunroofs any good in these cars ? do they leak ? are they hard to fix ? should i replace my roof with one with out sunroof
The most important question is if you want it to be original. It will not ever look 100% stock, but you may get it to look pretty good. It is all dependent upon what your perspective is, but I do not see any benefit in converting to a non-sunroof. If you wanted to replace the roof, replace it with a factory sunroof roof. (it is so much effort that you might as well get the car all the way back) The possibility is also there to find a decent sunroof and cut it out and weld it in.

should i replace my roof with one with out sunroof
That would be a lot of work... and not easy. Finding and installing a factory sunroof would also be difficult. If the car is stored indoors, I guess a sunroof would be ok. Did it have a vinyl top from the factory?
