I need a new driveshaft. The 8 3/4" has a 7260 yoke for now. I have a driveshaft now that I can use, and it too is a 7260 unit. If I get it shortened locally, I can not have it balanced here . I can order one from Mancin's for a fair price, with either 7260 or 7290 u-joints. Question is, is there really much of a strength difference between the small 7260 and larger 7290 u-joints? codfish

The smaller yoke is a 1260-1330 series........bigger one is a 1350. The bigger is much stronger when making lots of HP.
