Yep, what superbinder said.

As for the 100 vs. 150, consider the 100 a half ton and the 150 a "heavy duty" half ton.   My Lil' Red is a 150 and I had a 100 parts truck that I dismantled at one time.   The main differences between the two:

Lighter weight front and rear springs
Smaller REAR brakes (fronts were the same)
Smaller rear end   (8 1/4 on the 100;  9 1/4 on the 150)

Those were the only differences I found.   Very likely, the shocks were different too, but I didn't really compare them...

A 150 is a 1/2 ton, the 100s are light 1/2 tons. The heavy 1/2 was a 3/4 with a 8 lung Dana 60 with a lighter rating then the reg 3/4 ton. We like to call it a 5/8 ton.

Somwhere along the way they switched from 100, 200 and 300 to 150, 250 and 350, not sure what year. I think it was somewhere around '80. Then, of course, they went to 1500, 2500 and 3500 in '94.
