Caliper bracket interchange?
« on: May 23, 2008, 07:20:55 PM »

Aside from pin vs slider and large rotor vs small, do caliper brackets interchange between chassis types? Specifically, I have a set of brackets from a 77 C body, and the local yard is loaded with F,M,J,R's and the like.

But yes, the calipers from any body will fit your brackets.

Are they from a 77 C body or B body? What car? If it is a C body then no they will not fit the other spindles. C body used the same size as the 5 lug trucks and vans.

C body. Royal Monaco Brougham. I know it had the same lower control arm as a 75-77 Imp. Figures it was built from truck parts. That car was a tank.
Oh well, thought I might have got lucky.

Naw, I'm holding out for sliders. I just need to get up earlier. They are one of the first things gone at pick and pull.
Hey are you still moving back east?
