Don't sweat the red/orange stripe. "Pops" real nice against the other two colors. Another nice touch would be a professionally painted pinstripe on the hood, done in the same red/orange...
the matching red/orange pin striping around the hood scoop would really highlight the scoop and it would also tie the hood in with the rest of the car. Are you going to put all of the stock chrome bumpers and trim back on the car, or are you going to "de-chrome" it? Richard

Yeah i was actually thinking the same thing on the hood to break up the two colors, but on the other hand i kind of like the effect you get with out it. In certain light you can't tell if the car is all black or two tone, it kind of fources you to do a double take. (would probably be kind of hard to get a picture of) Anyways, i think the pin stripe might lose that effect.as far as the cheese "trim" goes i lost it all except for the spear around the stripe. All the holes are filled. there was a bunch of it on the hood, rocker, deck lid, everywhere. The back up lights are gone too. Im still undecided on the bumpers and grill, i was thinking about maybe trying to lose the bezels to but it probably wouldnt look rite. maybe ill paint them or something so they kind of blend. Mayber even a grill kind of like this one, the billet look. i I dont know i'll figure it out when i get there though. thanks for the ideas and insight. Couldn't have done it without oh yeah and oh and dont forget

Any ideas on where to get some decent priced wheels? Most places want some pretty good money for American Racing maybe i can find some knock offs.

I found the Mustang Bullitt wheels AND tires on Ebay for @ $900. I thought it was a great deal, but make certain on your clearances...I had to send my rear tires back These are the rears The fronts are 225/40/18

I personally don't care for the look of the billet grille on the car that you posted above, but the body colored headlamp bezels are VERY cool. I wonder how your cars stock grille would look painted body color also? Do they make fiberglass bumpers for your car? Painting the bumpers body color would also look killer. Richard

I'd say it's too moderate. You've done some chrome and some body color and I think it'd look better one way or the other. I think painting all the chrome black to match the second tone would look cool.

That's really unique - in a good way. Very nice. Looks straight as an arrow, too.

Yeah thats the main place i've looked nothing else really caught my eye for this car and the look im going for. i just found these on e-bay some knock offs with some rice tires whatand do you think. id hate to get them to save a few bucks and end up not liking them. i dont think the center line down the spokes is as (hard) as the american racing ones.

I didn't see the link til I posted, those are nice, not cheap though, and you'd have to find a way to get rid of the mustang should it really cost $200 to ship them???

compared to the american racing ones they are pretty cheap and thats with tires. i got quoted $225 a wheel for the american racing ones and thats before tax, lug kit, and the bend you over fee. As far as shipping it does seem a little steep but figure, what, 12 lbs a wheel plus tires, i dont know 10 lbs each?. x 4 88 pounds i dont know what the going rate is as far as shipping but it cant be to far off.

That is one tough Hombre. I like the wheel choice and you can't beat the price. I've had mine on the road for a month or so and am completely satisfied
