Hello, I am replacing my fenders on my 68 GT. What do you use as a sealant between the inner and outer fender? Thanks for your time.

if you plan on undercoating after your are done installing a nice light coat of brushable seam sealer will kep the under coat from blowing through but will make remvoing the fenders at a later time a little more difficult.

Thank you all. I like that 3 M strip caulk idea.
I bought a box of the 3M Strip- Calk from Year One awhile back. The 3M part number is 051135 - 08578 for the black. In one box you get 20 yards, or 60 feet of materrial, cut into 1 foot long strips. The Year One's part number in case you can't find it locally, is #3M8578 and in the catalog that I have, their price is $14.40 plus shipping. Richard

Agreed. Restoration Specialties has all the rubber seals associated with the fenders. And, FWIW, I started to use 3M strip caulk between the inner and outer fenders and found I couldn't make adjustments to the fender while doing reassembly. The stuff just had too much grip. I ended up removing it.
