fuel sender question
« on: June 04, 2008, 04:33:46 PM »

Does anyone make a stock sender and pickup unit for a 72 dart swinger that is 240 ohms full and 33 ohms empty? I would like to use the autometer 1412 quad guage and cannot due to the stock being 73 and 10.

No......at least not drop-in ready for Mopar fuel tanks.  Jegs and Summit both carry universal fuel senders but requires modification to the stock tank to install properly.  I recently ran into the same dilemna, and ended up buying the Autometer NV series guages which have a fuel guage that is programmable for different factory senders as well as custom parameters.

Autometer probably doesn't offer the programmable unit in your 4-guage cluster setup do they?

What guages are you going to run? I have an Auto Meter Pro Comp downstaire that's ranged for a Mopar sender. If you want, I'll go check the number on it.

It takes a Mopar to catch a Mopar.
