Ok i knew that i had some rust in the iner rocker just behind the wheel wells and my q panels need to go as well so i cut the Q panel off and i find House insulation expanding foam in the hole in the inner rocker behind the Qs and this stuff has made the iner iner rocker to the floor rot. Its just a 8 inch spot but come on this is killing me that someone would do this. Now i have to spend the time to fix this. so i have to fix rot on the bottom of the wheel well and the iner side of the iner rocker and the outside of the iner rocker. Its all looks farely easy but time consuming. Has anyone had rust in this spot or am i the lucky one.

I'm sure that foam was somebody's attempt at resculpting where there was already rust-through.

It wasnt resculpting BC it was behind the Q. the hole was maybe quarter size hole on the very bottom side of the Q panels .It was to plug the hole. I should take a pic to better show you Im starting to laugh about it now. I was mad BC it was more work for me but now

Best one I saw was a chassis rail with one side made with aluminium tape and then underseal to disguise it. you could poke holes in it with your finger ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif)

Hey, at least the guy had the common sense to use some kind of metal. I knew a guy who used balled up newspapers, covered it with bondo, and used waxed paper to smooth the bondo while it dried. Quality work.

On my first barracuda, some one used plastic edging and then feathered the bondo out. The screws were still sticking through the inside of quarter panel. Surrprised they didnt slice up the tires.

I went to a body shop for an estimate on some trunk work and he showed me where someone had put a "Dish Scouring Pad" to fill a dent in a door on some other customers car and then bondoed over that!

I went and looked at a car that had "great stuff" in it, he said he had an exhaust leak into the interior and thought it would help stop it
good luck on getting it fixed
