This was our fourth year rafting with the Boy Scouts. It's always a good trip. We leave Friday and camp at Heritage Scout camp, close to Union Town PA. On Sat we go caving at Laurel Caverns, and Sunday we go rafting. When I called last week the girl said the river was up at 3ft. When we got there sun it was up to 7 1/2 ft. Any thing over 7 and they have to put a guide in each raft. We usually just have guides in kiyacks pointing the way. The trip takes about 5 hours including swimming, jumping off a 12 foot rock, and lunch. This year it took less than 3 hrs and no swimming and rock jumping. The rock we jump off of looked like a turtle shell in the water, with about 6 inches sticking out. Lots of fun, Joe.

I love rafting. There's no where here where I live to do it so we only get to raft on vacations. Been to a couple rivers in the Carolinas and one in Canada. I'd like to go out west some time too. It's always a blast.
