Noticed a lot of guys removing the spare well. What's the idea behind this, is it to get the fuel cell up higher or purely asthetics? I've got a cell and I'm starting to wonder if I should cut out the well. Thanks,
Drew

I moved my Dana back an inch which put it into the gas tank. I'm going with a 22 gallon cell so the sump was useless. Also want to run the pipes out the back. Tom

I cut it out along the frame flange and buttwelded 16ga. The thicker 16ga. makes washing in the existing floor easy. Tom
