Got the Dart back fom paint and have the car reassembled. When I say paint I mean primer with a matt clear coating which should keep the car looking good at least until I decide what color to paint it...if I ever do. The folks at Sharadon Performance really brought the body lines back out and everyhting is crisp. The AAR fiberglass fenders and hood fit better than I had hoped...almost a perfect bolt on. Took quite a while to work the front disc barkes out though and finally went with 73 up spindles, AR engineering billet mouts for the Wilwood 4x piston calipers and Cordoba 11.75 rotors. With the B body 11 inch brakes the car now stops as fast as it accelerates.
I have gotten a great response from folks that have seen it and most like it the way it is which may lead me to leave it that way for the forseeable future. A car llike this is never done and it is still a work in progress. Still needs straps on the doors for the windows, headliner, mechanical tach drive cable and the Dana needs to be detailed but all that can wait until next winter as summer is here and this car begs to driven and beat on.
The Passon 4 speed shifts extremely well and allows me to cruise at 75MPH while only taching 2600RPM with a 4:10 gear...best of both worlds. Runs at just 175 degress in traffic and never goes above 180 when flying down the interstate....many thanks to Glenn Ray radiator for producing a really qaulity radiaor that looks stock and fits in the stock loction.
If anyone is intereted in building one of these and I can be of any help just ask. If folks want more pics if particular details let me know as well

I agree with Maynard! That is a beautiful specimen of Mopar Machinery, just the way it is. Can you obtain or print, the original warning labels and window stickers for it? That would be a nice finishing touch (for street use of course!!).

Absolutely awesome just the way it is. I dig the "as produced from factory" look. I remember a lot of your mock up build and wondered whatever happened to it. Turned out way cool.
Yeah, how about more pics of everything in general. Got any pictures of underneath?

That's the stuff! Awesome looking car. Looks like $275,000! I've heard the originals came with 4.5" BP up front, but aren't sure, either way, it looks nice.
The inner fenders look too glossy though. The hood is a little on the glossy side, make sure you've checked the work. I've learned the glossy organasol is a mess, it gets all over your fingers for many years to come and even looks bad.

That kicks ass. I agree with Maynard, it needs nothing.
If you wanted to paint it, that would be ok, but it doesn't really need it.

I think YearOne has the factory repro stickers they put on the cars.
You've gotten it to a good place to pause at, that's for sure.

Got a question for ya......What size tires and rims do you have on the front, the reason i ask is because I have 15X8-1/2 Torque thrust D's in the rear of my 69 dart with 15X7's up front, I am running Mickey Thompson L-60's in the rear and G-60's in the front. problem is my front wheels and tires stick out just a bit too much for my taste, if they were in another inch, inch and a half I would be happy as hell, I have been thinking about going with a 14X6 or 7 in the front, but I just paid big bucks for the one's I have, I also went with the 73 disc swap so basically we're pretty close in that dept. I have always been a huge fan of the torque thrust wheels this is probably my 6th new set but if I have to change the front ones i could probably find a use for the one's I have on something else. But if I could get the rim and tire size that you have on your's that would be a huge help and the backspacing on the fronts would be even better, Thanks for your help, Dave
