So when would you call a door hinge fubar'd? my darts are pretty fudged. when I pulled the door I found a 2 1/2" and a 1" long piece of 1/8" thick (maybe thicker never measured it) flat bar steel that was being used as a shim. The hinge has a hole thats about twice as long as it is wide oblonged. I'll get pictures but I'm thinking I'll be looking for new ones. I'd like to get my hinges perfect and my strickers perfect so when I do my frame connectors I know for sure when I check the door gap that their good and no sag.

You can weld the holes shut and re-drill them, then add new bushings and pins. Most times you can fix hinges.
