Question for Bill
« on: June 11, 2008, 03:08:59 PM »

Hey Bill, the alterkation I bought was for a hemi. I bought a 1970 440 engine and was wondering what I need to get to put it together. Just the mounts? Will the TCI tranny  and converter for the hemi bolt up?

hmm, missed this one.

..The weld-on mount brackets are also different, so you'd have to cut them off and weld the new ones on. It's an easy task technically, but physically kinda sucks grinding the original welds off - they're a bit thick.

Well, just one more problem to deal with. No one said these Mopars were easy, just fast and expensive.
Thanks, Jim

Trouble is since my shock towers are cut out I would still have to use an alterkation. The cheapest solution for me is to modify this one.
