I have a 70 pro street Dart that I must sell. I understand that Ebay is the best way to get thousands of people to see your car. I do not have a credit card and I don't understand how pay pal works. Can anybody explain in detail the steps I need to take to make this happen? Thanks in advance for your input!!!

Not much experience here but I don't think you have to have a credit card to use paypal. I think you can tie it to a checking account.

no reserve auctions are cheap, if the bidding starts low; ie 9.99 .......the car willl get tons of action and sell to the high bidder. then you will be charged a % according to the selling price .......you can also end the auction early and do a deal off ebay. all this would cost is the listing fee...........reserve auctions get pricey, and i believe if you have a high starting price it costs more; not positive on that one. i dont think you can end the auctin within a certain number of hours prior to the end.......read the rules, its all there

go to .......HotRodhotline.com..........the cost is not as much as ebay and when you sell it, all the money is yours, no fee goes to them.

Why not try Cragslist or some other free ad first.

craigs list has become very popular and is probably the best option for selling locally...........ebay gives world wide exposer if you have something very special and worth the expense of shipping

Accept a down payment thru Paypal but not the entire amount. Paypal also charges huge fees to the seller, but is free for the buyer. You need to start the account with bank info, then you can add CC's later. Been using it for years with no issues, just pay attention to details.

The last car I sold on E-bay was Free insertion fees, just pay for your upgrades in your ad, cost me $16 to list and $75 selling fee, total. If you have to sell ASAP, e-bay will give you the most exposure quickly, should run you about $100 total from start to finish, but be prepared, the more exposure you get, the more idiots you will draw, just be careful! Hope this helps, Newbomb

I won't use a credit card on the internet so I made a deposit from my checking account to open the account in paypal. It was so long ago, I'm not sure exactly how I did it but just follow the prompts.

Thanks for all of the tips it is very helpful. I think I will go to craigslist and a few other sites that I know are free. If it does not sell in a week or two, then I will go to Ebay. You guys are the best. Talk to you soon!
