as i mature, i've learned that you cannot make someone love you, all you can do is stalk them & hope they panic & give in. i've learned that no matter how much i care, some people are just a$$holes. i've learned it takes yrs to build up trust & it only takes suspion, not proof, to destroy it. i've learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 mins. after that you'd better have a big willy, or huge boobs. i've learned that you shouldn't compare youself to others - they are more screwed up than you think. i've learned that you can keep vomitting long after you think you are finished. i've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities. i've learned that regardless of how hot & steamy a relationship starts, passion fades, & there had better be alot of $ to take it's place. i've learned that 99% of the time something isn't working, 1 of the kids did it. i've learned that the people you care about in life are taken from you too soon & all of the less important ones just never go away. pass this along to someone, they might appreciate it. who knows maybe something good will happen.   if not..............................................tough shit.

I belive i'm qualifed to coment on this subject.    It may be old hat to say this but it's oh so true...the most important thing you can possess as you age is good health...I'm 65 yrs old and my health is catching up to my many years of abusing my body..I've had a liver transplant ..because me and Jack Daniels were good buds...I have Parkinsons because God just thought I needed it.  I recently had my lower backfused because the bare bone on bone arthritus was so painful i could not walk across the room to go the bathroom.  I have Polydelaminatig neourthophy in both lower legs.  This means the protective sheaths around the nerves are being consumed by the body exposing the nerves to the inner tissue.  On top of this i have COPD, Asthma, and am losing weight and muscle mass and no one seems to know why.
  Now i'm not writing this because I want your pity or sympathy...I just hope some of you young people will take an hint and live life a little more carefully..put down that booze bottle sooner..put on a heaver coat in winter...ditch the cigaretts.. pay attention to the food you eat... and listen to your Doctor, Wife, Mom, Dad, Kids, Friends... they want you around despite your "Self Destructive Life Style"
  Will my health stop me from doing what I have loved all my life... MY CAR HOBBY?? Not till they put me in the ground..If I have to drag myself across the garage floor ..they will find me dead under the car with my 13/16 wrench in hand and a smile on my face.

amen, brother. cause i'm getting older too, i also had the superman syndrome, but now i feel the pain everyday, & it isn't getting any better.
