Does anyone have a set of 67-74 A-body shift rods they can measure? I bought a set and they seem too long. I am converting an auto car and don't have all the parts yet.

Check the #'s on the rods. I just bought a new hurst and they put 1 rod in the box wrong. They made good for it. I can check the paper work when I get time for the #'s if you dodn't have them.

I did not see any numbers on the rods. Does this mean they are for an inland tool shifter? The 3-4 rod is 17" end to end 1-2 is 13" and reverse is 15". I wish I knew someone local with a factory stick car I could look at.

I can tell you one thing, DON'T use that shifter. It's an Inland and they are WEAK. It's also missing the reverse lockout handle. My impression is that they are long. I've got a set out in the garage. I'll measure them here in a minute or two.

The ones that I have are aftermarket and very straight, but the lenghts are about 18" for 3-4 and 11" for 1-2.
