well.....ive start my car yesterday.....plenty of oil in the engine.....5 quarts of oil in the trans.....NO OIL IN THE CONVERTER WHEN I INSTALED IT....i just fuc.....ing forgot to put some fluid in the converter(b&m brand new converter) before installing it!!!!!! ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) so yesterday i ve started the car and let it idle a couple of minutes...then 20min at 2000 rpm (new engine)then a couple min idle.....did i screw up my trans?   ? please help me out!!!!!!!! thanks

I suspect your ok. You didn't put it in gear and you did have some fluid in the trans. Go ahead and fill and check.

If your trans was in neutral you should be ok, but if it was in park you might have damage. There is no fluid flow in park so no lubrication. So top it up and try it you have nothing to loose.

sorry bout the  , I had one yrs ago while changing oil, after draining it, I forget to fill it back up before cranking it.Had some buddies standing around drinking beer with me at the time!  It kept shutting off after starting. Thats when I got a ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) . So don't be to hard on your self. The good thing is you want let it happen again! BILL

I never put any fliud in the converter on a fresh tranny ... never had any problems ...
