Trade a 8 3/4 center for a 9" one.
« on: June 25, 2008, 07:21:18 AM »

I've got a '489 casting center with 5.57s, and a good sure grip, I need a 9" that's steeper than 4.30s. I'm in western NY.

I have a 9" chunk with 4.10s and a detroit locker.  If you are interested contact me.

I'm looking for steeper gears, but if you pay shipping for both, I've got no problem with it. I'll just buy new gears.

This is a Ford 9" correct?  If dusterdood passes, I may be interested.

It would be expensive to ship the two center sections. I'm way up here in NY.

Yes it is for a Ford 9".  I actually have a whole rearend that was narrowed to A-Body size.  It has aftermarket axles, aftermarket disc brake, long studs, and the 4.10 chunk.  I put it in a 6 cylinder Duster I was converting to Big Block.  I used it behind the 6 cylinder for a month, before someone wanted to buy the car.  If you are interested in the chunk or whole thing PM back.
