just picked one up. Ran into a dude in town that has one on his 451 C body, loves it. I have mine on, have yet to run it. Anyone have one?

I got the insert. Its basically an electric motor wraped in billet aluminum with a billet aluminum impeller. nice quality so far.

It's only  throw money because it's for Mopar. There's no reason for just the electric part to cost that much. We brought the alu wp housing from 440 source hoping to catch a deal on the electric pump, but may put the old back in it!

I use a mancini elec water pump, works fine, its a bit heavy though,

Oh I like that. Too bad it would cost almost the same as any of the others with the purchase of an aluminum housing. Considering I have a new aluminum housing and would really like to have an electric water pump, I guess this is what I'll go with. I guess this way it loks more stock anyways. I bet most probably wouldn't  even notice the wires coming off it or the missing pulley/belt at first.

My engines do not have one those 'engine covers' like on the new cars though.

Not sure if it would look more stealth black or painted orange to match the rest of the engine.
Either way that Summit stick has to be removed. puke

My blocks 3/4 hard block filled,after saying that I make a pass and drive back to the pits and still only be about 200 degree's.Which is better than the morroso unit I replaced.

Anyboby measure to see how thick(from mounting surface of housing to front side of motor) I think a stock pump is about 3.250,hopefully it is a a little  thinner,also would like to know how it would last ,street driven,is  it rated for continous duty
