Hey guys, I know some of you have worked on and built a 74 Duster with A/C. The one I am working on had wire harness out. In replacing it, I see no mounting place for the fues box. I sure would appreciate a pic or something like that showing where that box goes. I would really like to finish up this car, and that is a BIG hold up. Dave, thanks a TON, but you would think you would see a screw hole or something, but I do not. I know I need glasses, but darn I did not think I was that blind. I will take another look. Once I get a few things like that figured out, I am going to sell this HEMI 4 speed race car, Cheap. Thanks again Chadbourn Bolles 803 532 6257 803 798 3044 cell

The fuseblock is hinged on a couple of curved tabs that are part of the lower dash frame. Fuseblock swings up and into a horizontal position where a winged stud screws into a bracket to hold the fuseblock in place. Could it be that someone cut these various brackets out of the car previously??

I found it, after spending 2 1/2 hours in a junk yard looking at cars like this, I found it. The fuse box in the A/C car does not bolt in, it fits on a piece of metal that is part of the panel where the inst. cluster goes. Such a simple thing, yet it kept eluding me, now I am good to go.
